Not good for Sheetrock mudI do not like how short the roller brush is. It leaves room for errors to happen when trying to apply the textured design to your wall.If you're expecting something with exceptional properties you'll be disappointed. It's just drywall mud.This product did not make the beautiful texture that it says it will. My husband has to roll it over and over and over again to get it to look okay, but also find that happy spot before it was just a big mess. Definitely not worth the money, no time saved at all.It does the job but it's very picky so you have to be patient.It's rubber so it doesn't pick up paint: too much paint and it'll drip down the wall, too little paint and it doesn't show up clearly.I found it's easiest to do small squares at a time to avoid running out of paint.No es lo que quería aunque puede ser útil a otras personas.This tool rocks! While remodeling (DIY) we moved walls and had to patch a large area of the ceiling. I’d already tried several methods to match the knockdown texture of the existing ceiling, but it was never seamless. With this simple little tool, it was easy to make it as if the patched area was original to the ceiling. There is a trick to getting a flawless result.1) Apply the joint compound with a sheet rock knife scraping the edges of the patch flat with the existing ceiling2) Roll the area with the texture tool3) Wait at least 5 minutes (but not much longer) for the mud to start to set up4) Gently drag the sheet rock knife over the mud to create the knock down texture5) Let dry and paintHope that helps!I think some speckly gilt will add a lot to a particular wall!It should be a more spongie, soft design.
